As a member of DIG in my day job, I thought I might contribute to the group by helping establish some graphical identity. This wasn't the easiest of tasks as graphical design by concensus is quite a bit more subjective than engineering design by concensus (which is what DIG is built on - W3C recommendations from groups built to agree on technical web standards). Although I'm sure I'd be surprised by the amount of subjectivity actually involved in engineering concensus building.
We got there. This is what worked for everybody.
